Obituary:
Gorham, Karen L. Johnson, 53, of Gorham, passed away Saturday June 17, 2017 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Portland, December 8, 1963 the daughter of Richard and Sharon Merrithew Johnson Sr. Karen attended Portland schools.
She was employed for several years at Jordon Meats and later as a dietary Cook at Gorham House. Karen largest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed knitting, candlepin bowling and her dog JoJo.
Survivors include her husband Donald Barnes of Gorham, 2 sons Philip Sandberg and wife Catherine of Buxton, and Joshua Salang and fiancée Natasha Moulton of Standish, a daughter Misty Hanlon of Nevada, 2 brothers Richard Johnson Sr. of South Portland, and Christopher Johnson of Saco, a sisters Corrina Cooper and husband Ronald Sr. of Windham, and 5 grandchildren Chase, Liam Sandberg, Conner, Hunter and Olivia Salang.
