Obituary:
Norma Jean DeFilippo, 58, of Biddeford, ME, passed away at home on May 2, 2017.
Norma is survived by her children, Jake DeFilippo of Bangor, ME and Rebecca DeFilippo of South Beach, FL; mother, Josephine (DeNardis) Davis of Thompson, CT; brothers, Buster Davis of Webster, MA and Tom Davis of Houston, TX; sisters, Jo LaFlamme of Willington, CT, Betty Beaudry of Albuquerque, NM, and Kathy Mayotte of Thompson, CT, and several other family members and friends who will miss her. Norma is preceded in death by her father, Harold Davis, and niece, Jennifer Lehrer.
She was born in Webster, MA on January 29, 1959 and grew up in Thompson, CT, graduating from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in 1977. In 1991, Norma and her family moved to Maine where she worked as a waitress and caterer, and operated her own food truck for a while. She was a great cook!
From an early age, Norma displayed a passion and talent for music and enjoyed playing guitar. She was known for her kind-hearted and giving nature. Norma was the type of person who would give her last penny to help someone else in need. She was a generous soul who looked after others and loved spending time near the ocean and playing music, but above all, she adored Jake and Becky and was proud to be their mom. "Love you more!"
