Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 10am-12pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road, Buxton. A service will be held at noon officiated by the Reverend Merle Steva followed by a procession to Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Warren.

Obituary:
Marie Esther Clark, 90, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2017 at the Hawthorne House in Freeport.
She was born in East Machias on August 7, 1926, the daughter of Calvin and Esther Willigar Clark. She grew up in Machias and graduated from Machias High School. She relocated to Portland after she married her husband Warren; it is there where they raised their two sons. Marie’s world was her family; she loved caring for each of them. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking from scratch, bird watching and camping.
Marie was predeceased by her husband Warren Clark in 2008, sons Phillip Clark and Richard Clark, a brother Hollis Clark, and 2 sisters Winifred “Winnie” Gardner and Owena Wood.
She is survived by a sister Jennifer “Dolly” Griffin, a daughter-in-law Beverly Clark, grandchildren Michael Clark and his wife Theresa, Michelle Goodale and her husband Ed, and Victoria Belvin and her husband Billy, 3 great grandchildren Landon, Shelby and Emmett Clark, as well as many nieces and nephews.
