Obituary:
Roger Edgar Larrivee Jr, age 70, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, april 2nd, 2017 and will be eternally missed by many. Roger was born on November 14th, 1946, in Westbrook Maine. He was predeceased by his parents, father Roger Edgar Larrivee, Sr. and loving mother Gabrielle Caron Larrivee, of westbrook,Maine, sister Marlene Wentworth Lowe and his brother Robert "Bobby"Wentworth. He is survived by his life partner of 36 years, Pamelia Barrett, his brother, Michael Larrivee and wife Marlene of Buxton Maine and his sister Tina Daniels of Portland; his three children, Roger Edgar Larrivee III, and wife Kelley of Hollis, Maine, daughter Melissa Larrivee Franklin and husband Jordan of Veazie Maine, and daughter April Larrivee MacDonald, and husband James of Buxton Maine; Pam's three children; son Christopher Woodbrey, and wife Christina of Westbrook Maine, twin daughters Libby Frances of Boston and Abigail Tucker, and husband Jim of Westbrook Maine. He will also be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephew and, of course, by his loving pets, his sweet dog, Henry and newest baby, Little Girl kitty. Roger will always be remembered, without doubt, as a hard worker. He began his young adult life doing a tour in the navy. He was also a volunteer firefighter early in his life in Buxton. Following this, he embarked on a rigorous work life that included building and construction and being a long time employee of Bath Iron Works, retiring in 2009. Those who knew him agree that he was a multi-talented, fiercely determined man with a can-do spirit. He will be remembered as a loving family man who always found a way to help his children and family, his loved ones in general, his friends, and his neighbors. He loved building, tinkering, puttering, designing, gardening, mowing......his lawns will never look the same......he loved fishing with his grandsons, clearing the land by the river for the family enjoy.....he loved swimming in his "pool", the saco river. He loved to hunt and fish, especially with his son, grandsons, son-in-law, brother, and nephews. He was proud of his children and loved to say he held a royal hand--queens, king high....he enjoyed a good card game with family and friends and completing puzzles with Pam--and many they did do! He loved his Model A car...it was a lifelong hobby and interest. He had a passion for history, and a strong preference for Smithsonian or History channel programming. He was a smart and skilled man with lots of knowledge, often sought after for help and advice. It was often said "if anyone knows, Roger knows."
He was a good man, a loving man, a sincere man, a stubborn man, a giving man, a family man....and he will be forever missed. Many hearts are broken.

To all of the Larrivee family,
I was sadden to hear of the loss of Roger. I can remember him,Mike and I swinging from the tire swing than falling into the water in the little pond behind their house. Going blueberry picking, collecting eggs, chasing the cows and "Specky" being right behind us. The Sunday afternoons on the porch, races and all around good fun. Roger was a great cousin and he enjoyed life as a young man. I hope that you find as many memories in your heart as I have and that somehow this will make his passing a little easier to bare. I know he will be in your hearts forever-as you will be his.
Cousin Linda
