BOSS requested no funeral service but a grave side service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Veazie at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road, Buxton. Serving our Veterans with pride.

Obituary:
Irving Charles "BOSS" Emerson, 90 of Ledgewood Manor in Windham and formerly of Falmouth and West Buxton, went to be with the Lord on Friday February 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 5, 1926 in Bangor, ME to Irving William Emerson and Helen Price Emerson.
He was a proud World War II US Army Veteran. He was a lifelong carpenter and in later life a school janitor.
Surviving are his children Gloria Emerson, Bruce Emerson (wife Carla), Raymond Emerson (wife Beverly), Kenneth Emerson, and Jan Gaudet (husband Paul). Grandchildren Tammy Cottle, Cathy Mason Schulz, Tammy MacEachern, Dawn Gauthier, John Mason, Jenny Mason Asher, Paul Anthony Gaudet, James Eaton, Christopher Gaudet, Edith Sanford, Timothy Gaudet, Casandra Barr, Amie Pete Shain, and Rayanne Emerson. In addition, there are 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. A super list of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter Virginia Libby, a sister Beula, his brothers Eugene and Allen Emerson, grandson Fred Pete, a great grand daughter Bailey Shain and a former wife Louise Emerson.
