Obituary:
Saco- Cynthia Dorothy Howard, 50, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8th at Maine Medical Center after ferociously fighting a battle with cancer for ten years. She was born on August 26th, 1966 in Portland, the daughter of Robert Howard and Hilda Crockett.
Cynthia grew up in Falmouth, Maine and after living in different areas of the state, eventually laid roots in Saco, Maine while raising her daughter. A lover of all things nature, she spent as much time outdoors as she could. Cynthia was an active member of First Parish Church in Saco, Maine where was tirelessly involved in anything that was needed of her. She considered many from the parish her dear friends, along with countless others that she met along life’s journey.
Cynthia made it her life’s mission to raise her daughter, Ericka Howard, whom she loved with all of her heart, and will now watch over her from Heaven. Ericka resides in Old Lyme, CT.
Cynthia also leaves her brothers Brian, Bruce, Paul and Robert.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 11:00 am at First Parish Congregational Church, 12 Beach Street, Saco ME 04072.

Another angel has moved on and shall continue to watch over us...Cindy lived life to the fullest, was loyal and forgiving and encouraging of her friends, and treasured every moment shared with Ericka exploring the world around us and the heart songs within.Thank you for sharing your journey, your family and your heart so freely.
