A graveside service will be held Thursday November 10, 2016 at 11:00am at Bear Hill Cemetery in Hollis. Pastor Russel Giasson of the Goodwins Mills Advent Christian church will officiate.
A Celebration of Jays life will follow at the Goodwins Mills Advent Christian Mill, 498 Goodwins Mills Rd, Dayton, Maine at Thursday November 10, 2016 at 1:00pm.
Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral Home and Cremation 13 Portland Rd, Buxton,(Bar Mills) are entrusted with the arrangements.
Obituary:
Dayton, Jay A. Mullett, 46, of Mullett Lane passed away unexpectedly from a heart condition Sunday November 6, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Biddeford, with his twin brother Jeff, May 31, 1970, the son of Alan and Linda Baril Mullett.
Jay attended local schools and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1988.
He enrolled in the apprenticeship program at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and worked there for several years. He later traveled across country and was working for Northeast Coatings at the time of his death.
Jay enjoyed hunting, collectibles, which included baseball cards and memorabilia. He also enjoyed his landscaping, flower gardens and spending time with his dog Libby.
He is survived by his grandmothers Ethel Mullett of Dayton, Helen Goodrow of Dayton, his parents of Dayton, twin bother Jeff Mullett and his wife Jennifer of Lyman, a brother Keith Mullett of Dayton, niece Lauren Mullett and a nephew Ryan Mullett, both of Lyman.
