Obituary:
Daniel Joseph Dentico, age 90 passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 1st of November, 2016. Born March 28, 1926 to Dominick and Frances Dentico. Danny grew up and lived most of his adult life in Biddeford.
After his service in WWII as a tank gunner, Danny settled back in Maine working as a textile designer and took up painting in his spare time. He enjoyed watching local high school football games, playing pranks on his wife, and hosting social get togethers; he loved to laugh and make others laugh. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and keeping a meticulously leaf free yard. Danny always had a piece of candy and a joke ready for anyone who came to visit.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Georgette Laliberte Dentico (2001), along with his parents, and siblings: Joseph, Mary, Savario, Virginia, Antoinette and Vito.
He is survived by his daughter Frances-Marie and his son-in-law John Tarbox, along with his granddaughters Melissa Tarbox, TiffanyTarbox and Jamie Grindle. He will be missed by many considered him a surrogate grandfather and friend.
