Friends and relatives may call from 1-2:30 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road, Buxton. A 2:30pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Phil Sherman. A private family graveside service will be held at Tory Hill Cemetery in Buxton.

Obituary:
Standish – Diane Marie Callaghan passed away after a long illness on Saturday morning, October 8, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. She was born February 21, 1967 in Portland the daughter of Lucious and Norma Jean Ferrante Callaghan.
Diane attended Deering High School and work for years at publishing company J. Weston Walch. The majority of her career was spent working for her extended family’s business at Patten’s Farm in both Gorham and Kennebunkport. She loved working with family, getting to know people and developed many lasting relationships with her customers. She enjoyed meeting people in all social circles and cherished time with family and friends. She had a caring heart and genuine concern for others. Her positive attitude and unforgettable smile were truly amazing. She was a tremendous parent and advocate for her son, who was the light of her life.
She was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother, Robert E. Callaghan all of Portland.
Surviving is her minor son Darin Grabenstein of Standish, her sisters Kelley J. Head of Buxton and Deborah A. Callaghan of Portland, and her lifelong foster parents Donald and Dawn Patten and family.
