A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11am at the First Parish Congregational Church, 12 Beach Street, Saco with Deacon Kevin Jacques officiating. Service will be followed by a procession to Scarborough Memorial Cemetery, where Dustin will be laid to rest by his grandfather, Jackie Boulette and his cousin, Todd Newton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco, proudly serving our veterans.
Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach – Dustin James Paul, 26, passed away in Scarborough, on August 27, 2016. He was born in Skowhegan on March 6, 1990, the son of Christopher Paul and Tammy Greene.
Dustin graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School and then soon enlisted in the Army. He served in the 101st Airborne Division, “Whiskey Company”, in Afghanistan. After the Army, he was employed by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union over past few years, as well as doing contracting work in Southern Maine. Dustin was a proud and very active member of VFW Post 7997, where he served as Senior Vice Commander.
Dustin was an entertainer who enjoyed dancing, drawing and the serenity of the ocean. He loved being around his friends and family, and just having a good time. Dustin worked hard and gave all he had in everything he did. He was brave, intelligent and would be the first to support another in any way he could.
He was predeceased by his father Christopher Paul and by his grandfather Jackie “Papa” Boulette.
Dustin is survived by his mother Tammy Greene, a brother Derek Paul, his grandparents June Boulette, Jeff and Carla Greene, John and Beatrice Paul, his aunts and uncles Michael and Christy Paul, Kevin and Lisa Gower, Chris Greene, Kelly Greene, as well as many cousins. He was also a Godfather to Gage Michael Bachelder.
