Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach, Jennie Delores McClure, of Heath St passed away April 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Portland, March 27, 1937 the daughter of Arthur and Philamenia Sarappa White.
She attended local schools and graduated from Portland High School in 1956.
Mrs. McClure was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Portland and had attended The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and St. Margaret’s in Old Orchard Beach.
Jennie employed over the years at Webber Corporation, Coyn’s Restaurant, Asta Corporation, Health Tex and Fairchild National Semiconductor.
For many years, she was the owner of the Americana Motor Court in Old Orchard Beach.
She enjoyed decorating, reading, Bingo, walking the beach and arts and crafts. Jennie also enjoyed wintering in Florida in the Ft. Lauderdale area with her husband Robert.
She is predeceased by her sister June White in 1975.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years Robert L. S. McClure III of Old Orchard Beach, a son Angelo Ruotolo of South Portland, Me, 3 daughters Dr. Belinda Lee of Fort Lauderdale, Deborah Hertz of Narragansett, RI, and June B. Lee of Old Orchard Beach, 7 grandchildren, Roy, Jonathan, Rachel, Justin, Angela, Britney and Ariana and 4 great grandchildren, Devin, Delylah, Giana and Anthony.
