Obituary:
Saco, Terry L. von Salza Brown, 64 of McKenney Rd went home to the Lord on Friday March 11, 2016. She was born, Nov. 29, 1951 in Joliet, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Marilyn Schmieding Hanson.
She attended local schools and received an Associate’s degree from DeAnza Junior College in Cupertino, CA.
Terry was employed first by Diamond Shamrock Corp for 10 years. She then worked for National Semiconductor Corp for 10 years and most recently for Speech Pathology Associates with their Chewy Tubes product.
Terry's Christian faith was of greatest importance for her and she was an active member of Galilee Baptist Church in Gorham, Me.
Terry was a Longaberger Basket Consultant for the Saco area.
She was very involved in the Saco Maine Grand Old Party (GOP) and a member of the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Chapter of the Pine Tree Quilt Guild of Maine .
Terry enjoyed making quilts and they were proudly displayed at her home.
Survivors include her husband Richard of Saco, a son Ken Hensel of Columbia, MO, and a daughter Katie von Salza Brown of Saco, and brother Mike Hanson and his wife Sandy of Illinois, 2 sisters Peggy Hanson and Karen Conshafter and her husband Rick, 2 grandchildren Dylan and Hannah Hensel.
