In Memoriam : Daniel Trentacoste

I went to Shepaug with Dan during highschool, and both throughout school and after he was always a very close friend (and at times roommate) of my brother Jason Walsh. I always kept in touch with Dan, often through my brother, and made a point to visit him when he lived in Las Vegas when I was living in California. I used to always visit and spend time with him at my brother's house in Naugatuck and I tried to stay in contact no matter where he lived. although Dan was always in and out of our lives, I can honestly say that Dan always felt like a brother to me and he had the rare gift with people that whenever you talked to him you felt like you were the center of the world. I loved Dan dearly and my heart is broken to hear he has passed away, although I trust and hope that his beautiful soul - and his heart of gold - are finally at piece. I regret only that I didn't have more time to spend with him while he was here. He was a cherished friend to many, a beloved and kind hearted soul, and he truly and deeply will be missed.

Danny's smile will be forever missed.
