Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Cremation 365 Main St, Saco Sunday from 1 to 3 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Obituary:
Saco, Alvah E. Davis Jr, 75, of the Ferry Rd passed away Wednesday December 16, 2015 at the Southern Maine Health Center in Biddeford. He was born in Jonesport, Me December 27, 1939 the son of Alvah and Charlotte Groves Davis.
Al attended school across the country and stationed in Arizona while serving in the US Airforce.
He moved to Maine with his wife Lillian in the mid 1960’s. Mr. Davis worked as a repair machinist for the Maremont Corp. and later opened A& L/Machine which he operated to this day.
He was an avid hunter, chess player and enjoyed stock car racing.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Lillian Luedke Davis of Saco, a son Tim Davis of Mesa Arizona, 2 daughters Theresa Gardner of Las Vegas and Charlotte Hanna of Buxton, a sister Betty Juskiewicz of West Yarmouth, MA, 4 grandchildren Steven, Wendy, Miranda and Davis, and 4 great grandchildren, Michael, Josiah, Jacob and Jonathan.

I grew up and William Luedke was my friend. William was Lillians brother so I knew her and briefly we went to the same high school. This was way back in the early 1960's in St. Paul, MN. I now live in Scottsdale, AZ.
I got to meet Al way back in 1985 when I came out to visit Bill, Lillian, Ted, Ed, and Barb.
