A memorial service will be held Saturday September 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 13 Cleveland St, Saco. Father David Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery - Deering Park section with military honors.

Obituary:
Ocean Park, David Green, 91, of Randall Ave. passed away Friday September 4, 2015 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough where he was surrounded by caregivers and friends. He was born in Watford, England November 24, 1923 the son of Jim and Florence Crane Green.
David attended local schools and later studied in Cambridge.
During World War 2, David served in the Royal Air Force. His initial training was in Cambridge, England and later in Canada. In his position of navigator and bombardier he served on Stirlings and then he moved to Avro Lancasters were he flew over 40 missions in the European Theater.
After World War 2, he moved to Montreal where he was the Executive Director for Boy Scouts of America for many years.
Summering with his wife Sue in Ocean Park, they moved here permanently in the 1980’s.
He was a member of the Saco Bay and Montreal Rotary Clubs. David was a Past President of the Montreal Club and receiver of the Paul Harris Fellowship. He received a second Paul Harris Award just two weeks ago from the Saco Bay Club.
David was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Saco, were he was an usher and Lectern.
a former Director for the American Red Cross of York County.
He enjoyed the company of his dogs, his squadron reunions and going to breakfast with his friends.
Survivors include his wife Sue Green of Ocean Park, a sister Pam Muir of Launceston, Cornwall, England, several nieces Kate, Aileen, Shelagh, Linda, Wendy and nephews Colin, Philip and Steven .
The family of David Green would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Huntington Commons, especially Wendy Scott and the staff of Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough for their exceptional care and compassion given to David during his stay. Also many thanks to the Rotary Club of Saco Bay especially to Rotarians Jimmy Pate and Dennis Robillard, who visited and transported David to Rotary meetings and many lunches and more excursions and events, were shared with these two gentlemen. A heartfelt thank you to Bonnie Stevenson, RN for her dedicated and loyal care that she gave David not only in his home but chauffeuring him to lunches at Litchfield's, driving along the coast of Southern Maine, feeding the seagulls and viewing the many antique cars in the area but most of all being a true and loyal friend to David. Of course many thanks to all of David's long-time friends of Ocean Park who have shared and given David and Sue so much through their lives.
