Obituary:
BUXTON- Hazel C. Tapley, age 85, of Webster Road, passed away at her home on Oct. 7, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Scarborough on Dec. 19, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Alice (Newcomb) Waterhouse.
After attending Scarborough schools, Hazel went on to work at Home Stickney and Herman Shoe where she was employed until her retirement.
Hazel will always be remembered as a loving woman who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her beloved family and dear friends.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband- Sherman Tapley; nine brothers; and five sisters.
Hazel is survived by her daughters- Sandi McLaughlin of Buxton and Betty Cox and her husband Chipper of Buxton; four grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
