Obituary:
Rodney Eugene Dunton, 70, of Hampden, ME passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023. He was born June 22, 1953, to Clarence and Marion (Benson) Dunton. Rodney worked as a mechanic most of his life but was the happiest once he retired and was on his own schedule. He was an avid vegetable gardener and a wonderful cook. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Lester and Sidney, and sisters Louise and Clarice. He is survived by his daughter Renee, son Roger and his wife Beth, brothers Clarence, Leland, Robert, and Winston, sisters Florence and Marilyn, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A celebration of life will be held October 8th from 1-3pm at the Goodwill Riders Hampden Snowmobile Club.
