Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach – Scott Thomas Merritt passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House with his family by his side.
Scott was born on March 20, 1964 in Revere, MA, the son of Thomas Friel and Diane Merritt. He graduated from Wells High School in 1982.
Scott worked as an elevator mechanic for many years, most recently at Fujitech for the last 5 years.
In his spare time, Scott enjoyed fishing, baseball, hockey, football, bike riding, reading and roaming around Boston.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Erpenbeck Merritt of Old Orchard Beach, his brother Thomas Merritt of Wells, and his sister Debbie Merritt of New York.
There will be no services at Scott’s request. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco is entrusted with his services.

I was very saddened to hear of Scott passing. We have lots of great memories of Scotty from many years ago, he was always so good to Jordyn and a great friend to Bobby! His kindness and will always be remembered. Many Hugs, thought and Prayers. Norm, Lisa, Jordyn and Jake
