Obituary:
Windsor- Joseph W. Martin Jr., 66, was born on December 17, 1956 in Portland, ME to Joseph and Joanne (Pelletier) Martin. Joseph left this world July 7, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
Joseph came from a long line of New England Fisherman and proudly followed suit. He was an avid story-teller who enjoyed reliving his adventures and tales from his fishing days. Joseph enjoyed teasing family members (especially his grandchildren and sisters), online gaming, wood carving, nature, and having daily chats with his loving sisters, Vicki and Cindy.
Joseph is survived by his wife Shari; children Lucrezia, Joline and Joseph (Toby) Martin; step-children Kristine Morse, Lisa Bouchard and Anthony Morse; sisters Vicki Rollins and Cindy Reed, along with his many beloved nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his great grandchild; Averie.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, and sisters Lenora Nichols, Charity Martin and Jenise Martin.
The Martin family would like to thank the caring staff at Gosnell Memorial Hospice for the passionate care they provided Joseph during the final leg of his journey.
In honor of Joseph's wishes there will not be any public services.
