Obituary:
SACO – Jerome P. Olanovich (Jerry), 64, passed away on May 6. Born on August 20,1958 in Scranton, PA to Jerome T. and Patricia Olanovich.
His kindness is what he’ll be remembered for, which was largely the product of the strong relationship he had with his mom, who molded him into the kind and compassionate man he became. For years, he worked alongside his father in the beverage business. He was a supportive brother to his sister Judy and loved being a dad to his son Michael. He was a supportive and loving uncle and godfather to his niece Megan.
A talented and accomplished musician. He never failed to offer his wisdom to countless musicians as a mentor, while remaining unassuming about his incredible talent. Always humble, he had an esteemed career in music as a lead guitarist and vocalist.
He was predeceased by his parents and wife, Judi (Allen). He is survived by his son Michael and his partner Cheyanne of Saco, his sister Judy Krueger of Saco and his niece/godchild Megan Krueger and fiancé Derek Langella of Waterville as well as many other relatives and close friends. He leaves behind his beloved shih tzu-mix dog, Andre.
