Born in 1929, Priscilla was raised in Westerly, RI, the daughter of two schoolteachers, Earle and Edith Pine. She excelled at school and graduated from Boston University in 1949 at the age of 20.

She married Wallace W. Bednarz shortly after graduation on June 11, 1949. While living in Boston she had three children, two sons (one died in infancy) and a daughter. She enjoyed her friends at home, playing in bridge, duplicate bridge, and Mahjongg clubs. Extremely artistic, she volunteered to assist with the planning and decoration for floats or any organizational function. A talented cake decorator, she often made specialty cakes for friendsí birthdays and other celebrations.

She is predeceased by her husband Wallace, son Antonia, and daughter Kathryn.
