A private service and burial will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Obituary:
Norma D’Andrea, lovingly known as “Nonna”, passed away peacefully on July 20th at Huntington Commons in Kennebunk, Maine. She was 94 years young. Norma was born in Citta’ di Castello, Italy. She was the youngest child of Francesca Giullietti Gaburri and Giovanni Gaburri. While studying pharmacy at the University of Perugia, she met the love of her life, Anthony D’Andrea. At that time, he was an American citizen studying in Rome. Following a brief courtship, they married and returned to the United States where they ultimately settled in Portland, Maine.
Norma had many talents and interests. In addition to her passion for cooking, she loved to play golf, tennis and bridge. In her later years she spent much of her leisure time painting with watercolors.
She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Anthony D’Andrea in 2011. She is survived by her three daughters; Francesca Norton and her husband Richard; her children Seamus Bergen (Tanya), Larsen Bergen (Hayley), Sofia Reagan (Zachary); Mary Louise Fraker and her husband Douglas; their children Matthew Fraker, Kristen Fraker, Luke Fraker; Dorothy Holland and her husband Larry; her children William Booze, Grant Booze, and six great grandchildren; Charlotte, Mia, Ryker, Oliver, Milli, Natalie.

She lived a full life and embraced each day with dedication and joy.

Hi Fran, I was so sorry to read of your mother's death in this morning's paper. I'm sure you are heart broken. I almost felt like I knew her from the little stories you told of her. The two of you were so close. It was a great blessing that she could spend her last years closer to you in Kennebunk. She did have a wonderful long life -- we should all be so lucky.
