Obituary:
Barbara MacLean Mason, 90, of Portland, Maine, passed away on May 24th, 2022. She was born on October 26th, 1931 in East Orange, New Jersey. Barbara, also known as Button, was raised in Maplewood, New Jersey.
She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Raymond and Ann Cook, and her first husband Robert C MacLean. She was survived by her spouse Robert Mason, her brother Raymond Cook Jr., her children Scott (Lisa) MacLean, Robin MacLean, Keith (and Candace) MacLean, five stepchildren, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She graduated from Columbia High school, received her Associates degree from Stevens College and her Bachelors of Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Button loved gardening, boating and knitting.
