Visitation Information:
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Biddeford Church of Christ, 266 Pool Street, Biddeford at 11:00 am, Saturday June 4th, followed by lunch. Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road, Buxton is entrusted with her arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Gosnell at Hospice of Southern Maine, 390 US Route One, Scarborough, ME 04074.

Obituary:
Portland - Linda Lee Barnes of Portland passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Gosnell House on May 23rd, 2022. She was born on July 27, 1949 in Portland, the daughter of Joseph and Mildred Solak.

Linda loved shopping, going to Two Lights State Park, visiting and spending time with all her siblings. She absolutely loved going to her Church of Christ, and going to the movies, playing slot machines, and of course Bingo.

She wanted to say thank you to Dennis for always being there for her. She wanted to say a special thank you to Brad and Brenda for taking her to church. Linda loved her grandchildren to death, Paige Barnes and Brandon Barnes.

Linda got married in her twenties to Donald Barnes, he was a service man that was in the Army for many years. She worked for the Jewish Home for 12 years. She considered her dearest, closest friends Sandia Dennison "deceased", Tina Sangilo, and Kathy Theriault.

She is survived by her son, Lindsey Barnes -Daughter in Law, Jennifer Barnes, grandson Brandon Barnes, granddaughter Paige Barnes, siblings Matthew Solak, Andrew Solak, Marion Goodwin, Patty Malone, Mildred Solak, Andrea Hutchenson, Ellen K. Patterson, Mary Witham and Mike Solak.

Linda I know you believed in God and I know you're in a better place now.no more suffering. I will miss you ,you are the best and the most caring loving person, everybody loves you, you loved everybody. family was everything to you, you heart is bigger than the universe. Linda we're all are going to miss you, to Lindsey Jen and the kids I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother she was a wonderful lady my heart is with you guys. thoughts and prayers coming to you guys through this difficult time. To the whole Solak family brother in laws and sister-in-law's nieces and nephews cousins everybody my kids my grandkids to everybody who has known and loved Linda I'm sorry for your loss , you all are in my thoughts and prayers 💕 I love you all
