Visitation Information:
Visiting hours are to be held Saturday April 30, 2022, from 11 to 12 pm at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral home 365 Main St, Saco.
A 12:00 PM memorial service will be held at the funeral home, with burial at follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deering Park Section.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to New England Cancer Specialist 100 Campus Drive #108 Scarborough, Maine 04074

Obituary:
Saco, Steve E. Couture, 65, of Flag Pond Road passed away Sunday April 24, 2022, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
Steve was born to Portland on June 9, 1956, the son of Shirley Marie Couture.
He attended Saco schools and graduated from Thornton Academy.
He worked construction for several years and then for the City of Saco in the Public Works Department.
After the city, he had his own construction company with his son called S & S Handyman.
Steve enjoyed his birds, gardening, clamming, collecting coins and stamps and trips to Sebago lake.
His best times was being “ Papa “ to his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Brenda Couture of Saco, a son Sam Couture of Saco, a daughter Mindy Couture of Englewood, Colorado, and a like a son Nick Boutin, a brother Joseph Couture Sr, of Saco and wife Terry, and a sister Lisa Cote of Dayton and husband Don, 6 grandchildren Maddie, Kayla, Sadie, Victoria, Anna Beth and Thomas and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Brenda,Sam and Mindy. I am so sorry for your loss.Steve was such a nice guy.I remember when he did work at AVX he always had time to stop and talk even if it was a quick hello.He will definitely be missed. My deepest sympathies to the Couture family. Everyone in our family has worked with Steve and Sam for the past 30 years. It was such a pleasure to know Steve as he was always up for any challenge we through at him and his son Sam is continuing his legacy. I feel fortunate that they have become a part of our family.
