Obituary:
Buxton, Charles (Chip) E. Light, 76, of Main St passed away Monday November 23, 2021, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born in Stamford, Ct on January 6, 1945, the son of Charles and Emma Guldemond Light.
He graduated from schools in Connecticut and attended Maryland Institute of Art.
Charles moved to Maine about 20 years ago.
He lived in Portland, Hollis and then in Buxton and was self-employed for many years.
He had also been employed in maintenance for the Seaside Nursing Home, Pine Point Nursing home and then at Massabesic Middle School.
Survivors include a son Evan Light of CT, a daughter Kristin Light Dolan of Pennsylvania, and a sister Adrienne Andrews of Buxton.
