Obituary:
Lynne Rosemary Dion Hopkins, Saco, Maine August 26, 1939- November 17, 2021. Born in Biddeford and raised in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She met the love of her life Frank Hopkins in 1961, She gave birth to a son and a daughter. She was a wife and mother who made the most amazing cakes for her children's birthdays. She made every birthday special. She had a love of monkeys, adopting her first Capuchin monkey Tiki when her children were small.
During the 1970’s she owned a ceramic shop in Scarborough, Maine. Creating beautiful art. She was an avid member of the Engelbert Humperdink fan club. She was overjoyed to have the
pleasure of meeting him in person. She also enjoyed playing the piano herself. Born the daughter of Ernest Dion and Simone Perrault Dion.
Lynne was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Frank E, Hopkins and son Howard L.
Hopkins of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
She is survived by her daughter Robyn L. Hopkins of Saco, Maine. Her grandchildren Steap Paypathouangkeo and his fiancé Kimberly Farran of Boston, Massachusetts and granddaughter Samantha Villella of Saco, Maine. Also, her sister Patricia Courtwright and her husband Amedee of Colchester, Ct.
