Obituary:
Hollis Center, Sharann L. Cressey, 77, of Bar Mills road passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
She was born in Buffalo, NY April 11, 1944,the daughter of Ralph and Carol Cameron Burgess. She later lived in Michigan and finally to Maine. Sharann worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Southridge living Center and St. Andres Nursing Home.
She enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Greece and all of the Caribbean islands. Sharann also enjoyed family, playing Bingo, watching the Boston Red Sox and singing to Adele.
She is survived by her son John R. Burgess of West Newfield and his wife Kelly, a daughter Susanna Girard of Hollis Center and her husband Bertrand ,2 brothers George Burgess of FL and John Burgess of SC, a sister Linda Morongell of SC, 9 grandchildren, Jasmine, Kyle, Taylor, Bert, Michael, Falesha, Tarsha, Latesha, and Emil, and several great grandchildren.

To my sweet sweet sister, may you rest in peace forevermore. You are now singing and dancing on those streets of gold in Heaven with Mom and Jesus, free of pain! You are a wonderful sister and a very loving Mother/Grandmother to your family. You will be greatly missed by all! Love you Sis!!! My deepest Sympathy to her children and their families in Maine.
