A chapel service will be held Thursday May 13, 2021 at1 pm at St. Peters Cemetery Chapel 217 Switzerland Road Lewiston.
US Air Force Honors will be presented.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral home 13 Portland Rd, Buxton are entrusted with his services.

Obituary:
Hollis, Theodore Ballas was born to Michael Ballas and Mary Birosh Ballas in Kingston Pennsylvania.
The family moved to Portland Maine when Ted was nine.
He was second lieutenant in the Portland High cadet Corps in 1951 and graduated from Portland high in 1952. He joined the Air Force during the Korean conflict was honorably discharged in February 1960. After serving his country overseas he went to work for Greyhound Bus Lines as a driver for 30 years. After his retirement from the” Hound” he worked for Maine Bus Line Co. till in his 70’s. He met and married Doris Bilodeau in 1965. The family moved to Old Orchard Beach in 1971. His main interest was his family other interest were bowling wrestling and bingo.
In later years they moved to Hollis Maine with their son-in-law and daughter Matthew and Susie Flaherty.
He was preceded by his parents his in-laws Joseph and Loretta Bilodeau and more recently his son in law Ret. MST Matthew E Flaherty.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Doris Ballas his daughter Susan a Flaherty of Hollis Me. his brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bilodeau of Lewiston Me. His granddaughter Jennifer Pitts and her husband Matthew and his great granddaughter Maisie Pitts of Limerick Maine. His nephew and godchild Robert Bilodeau and Jen of Lewiston his niece Stacy Curran and her boys of Lewiston Marie Curran her husband Pat and their girls of Sabattus Maine. Bonus grandchildren Richard and Marilynn Burkowski and their children of Canterbury N.H. James Flaherty and his daughter of N. Waterboro Me.
A good friend said the Master sergeant (Matthew Flaherty) went first to make way for the Saint “ Theodore Ballas”.
