He served in the Navy on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt in the Korean War from 1950 until 1953. With a deep rooted passion for sports, and the adoration of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he never missed a sporting event. Fully summed up by his iconic license plate, "2KDSGMS".

He is predeceased by his parents Lucien and Estelle, his brothers; Guy, Gill, Paul and Andre, his sister Jackie. After 64 long years, Roger is now reunited with his first child, "Baby" Roger.

Surviving is his loving wife Anita (Beaulieu) Reny. His brother Bobby Reny and his wife Pat of Lewiston, his sister Justina of Old Orchard, and his sister-in-law Janine Reny of Old Orchard.
