Funeral services will be private. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough Maine, or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.

Suzan Rose Buckley of Sanford, Maine, passed away surrounded by her family and peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2020.
Suzan attended Wilmington High School and was a graduate of the Tewksbury Hospital Licensed Practical Nurse program in 1994. She loved animals, riding horses, camping with her family and gardening. An avid quilter, she gifted countless quilts to family and friends, and hoped to enjoy doing the same in retirement.
She leaves behind her husband, Neil Buckley Sr. of Sanford, ME; her two sons, Neil Buckley Jr. of Wilmington, MA and David Buckley of Milton, NH; her sister Elaine Rose Belshe of Stuart, Florida; her brother David Rose of Acton, Maine; and four beautiful grandchildren, Caleigh, Megan, Brenna, and Ashlyn Buckley.
Suzan and her family are grateful for the doctors and nurses who cared for her and for the compassionate care she received at Maine Medical Hospital and the Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough, Maine.
