Obituary:
Audrey “ Dee” Sawyer 71 of Bradley St passed away Friday October 16, 2020 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
She was born in Biddeford September 20, 1949 the daughter of Jesse and Dorothy L. (Smith) Philbrick Sr.
She attended local schools and graduated from Thornton Academy in 1967. Audrey later attended Central Maine General Hospital and became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was a home maker and caregiver for her whole family.
Audrey enjoyed walking, her animals, specially Fiona her cat and traveling to many racetracks to watch auto racing.
Audrey was a member and longtime active volunteer of the United Baptist Church of Saco, working the fairs and dinners.
She is predeceased by her mother and a brother Jesse Philbrick Jr.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 50 years Orrin Sawyer of Saco, by her father of Saco, 2 brothers Terrence Philbrick Sr of Warrenville, NC and wife Peggy, Vincent Philbrick of Las Vegas and wife LuBelle, 2 sisters Joleen Philbrick of Old Orchard Beach and Wanda Chelate of Saco and husband Adam, many nephews and nieces.
