Obituary:
Peter Michael Haughton 72 passed away at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was born on March 14, 1948 at the VA Hospital in Togus, the son of John Joseph Haughton, Sr. and Marie Agnes LeColst. He was a self employed painter and owned Custom Craftsmen. He enjoyed reading and listening to music.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Robert Haughton.
He is survived by a brother John Joseph Haughton, Jr and his wife Nancy, and a sister Kathlen Meneades.

I just found out today that Peter passed away. It feels like I just saw him at the grocery store - but it must have been back in April or early May. I have known Peter for 20 years. I met him at his favorite watering hole on Maine St in Brunswick. I was always happy to see him and enjoyed our many conversations over Molson Golden’s. Whether it was his love of classic literature, collecting photos of old movie stars or talking politics - the Democratic Party has truly lost a good one - I will miss seeing Peter around. My condolences to Peters family and friends.
