Obituary:
Alec Joseph Sutton Sr. Aka "Sonny" passed away peacefully on Friday January 24th after a brief battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Born on November 28th 1937 in Wales, Maine to William and Emma Sutton. He grew up in Portland where he attended Catholic schools from a young age and graduated from Cheverus High School. He was in the Marine Corps. from 1952-1957. He was a mechanic and loved to work on and fix vehicles. He was extremely smart and could tell you how to fix just about anything. Sonny worked self employed for many years. Well known in Portland and Southern Maine. He worked with long time friend Bob Nichols at the Saco Food Pantry for 15 years helping others. Sonny leaves behind 6 children: Belinda Sutton of Lyman, Misty Sutton of Bangor, William Sutton of Corinth, Reggie Sutton of Corinth, Alec Sutton Jr. of Rumford and Kyle Sutton of Saco.
Grandchildren: Colby Leclair, Joshua Dyer II, Alec Sutton III, Richard Pelletier II, Josiah Hurd, Mason Pelletier, Kevin Richardson, and Bentely Richardson.
