Obituary:
Portland, Lee S. Thurlow, 57, of Valley St passed away Saturday January 4, 2020 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
He was born in Portland, June 5, 1962 the son of Wilfred and Diane Elliott Thurlow.
Lee graduated from Wiscasset High School.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, kayaking, his dogs, camp with his cousin Tammy and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his girlfriend of over 15 years Mary Emmons, 3 brothers Ryan Thurlow of Steep Falls and wife Susan, Rob Thurlow of Buxton and wife Jackie, Shawn Carter of Jefferson and wife Jessica and a sister Alisa Gibbs of Burnham.

Lee was my good friend and neighbor for the last 10-11 years. I would almost see him daily. What I remember about Lee is that he Loved Mary and the puppies, Beanie, Deana, and Oliver, and he loved his TV shows. He would always get excited when it was time for Mary and him to go on their yearly trip to Six Flags. If it involved spending time with Mary he was on it. He loved and would do anything in the world for her. He touched my heart all the time cause as the years went by he became more truthful and innocent. Lee Thurlow was my good friend and person. I will miss him for sure. May God be with him and all his loved ones now and forever!
