A memorial service will beheld Saturday June 15th, 2019 at 2pm the Grace Bible Church, Deering Road, Gorham, Maine. Reception to follow.
Memorial Service will concluded with US Army Military Honors.
Honoring the Services of Our Veterans for their Service and Duty.
Obituary:
Frederick R. Wheelock, 96 of Elm St passed away May 30, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 20, 1922 in Vermont September 20, 1922 the son of Fred and Ruth Wheelock.
He moved to Maine as a young child and attended Deering High School and later graduated from Falmouth High School.
He served in the Army Corps for Engineers during World War II. After his service to his country, he attended the University of Maine in Portland. Fred worked as an Architectural Draftsman for many years. His Employments included Charles T. Main, Alonzo Harriman and Wadsworth of Boston.
He has been a resident of Old Orchard Beach since 1986.
Fred enjoyed photography, woodworking and golf.
