A private family service was held at Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco.
Burial was held at South Buxton Cemetery (Tory Hill) Woodman Section.
Obituary:
Biddeford, Hope Arlene . Michie, 87 of Bernard Ave passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019 at the Southern Maine Health Center in Biddeford.
She was born in Portland Maine August 20, 1931 the daughter of Perley and Doris Wentworth Collum.
She and her family were raised in Buxton and then moved to Old Orchard Beach at a young age.
Hope married Paul F. Michie and they enjoyed their honeymoon at Niagara Falls, New York.
She was first employed as a cashier for Woolworths, Kings and most recently for Hannaford.
In later years she then took care of her brother Richard Collum until his passing in 2012.
She is survived by her husband Paul F. Michie of Biddeford, a son Jim Michie of Buxton and wife Angela, a niece Susan Kenny of Sanford and husband William.
