Obituary:
Farmington- Karin M. Reiner, age 64, died December 7th, 2018, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after long battle with cancer. She was born on October 23rd, 1954 and grew up in Wertingen, Germany. She completed trade school there and became a licensed massage therapist. She married her former spouse, John Machado, and moved to the United States. She owned her own business until her retirement from illness. She was a member of Farmington Baptist Church and found great comfort and support within her faith. She enjoyed renovating projects, gardening, beekeeping, and reading. She is survived by her 3 Children. Her son Eric Machado of Mashpee, MA, his wife Leah, and their children Gabe & Emma. Her Daughter, Rebecca Pakowski of Sanford, ME, her husband Micah, and children Hanna And Max. Her daughter, Jessica Machado of Vero Beach, FL, her significant other Kyle Bishop and their son Lucian. In Germany she is survived by the spouse of her father who she had great affection for, Walburga Reiner and her sister Helga, as well as her children. She is also survived by her life-long friend Cathy Burgess and her spouse Gene. She was very grateful for the care provided by Southern Maine Healthcare, Dana-Farber, and especially Phoebe & Lynette of Androscoggin Home Health Hospice that enabled her to stay at home as long as possible.
