Portland, Gary Alan” Gator” Gay, 62, of Washington Ave passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 in Portland,
He was born in Portland March 27, 1956 the son of George F. Gay and Betty Peterson.
Gary attended local school and graduated from Deering High School in 1974. He attended the University of Maine for 2 years.
He was employed for many years as a painter for many years.
He enjoyed reading, playing in the Portland Softball League and watching the Lakers, Green Bay Packers and the Boston Red Sox.
Survivors include his step father and mother James and Betty Harbaugh of Portland, 3 brothers Gregory Gay of Portland, Gerald Gay of Sanford and William Cuddy of Portland, a sister Susan Utterstrom of Westbrook, a god son Paul Utterstrom of St. Petersburg, FL and several nieces and nephews.
