A private family graveside burial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland. The graveside service will conclude with USMC military honors.

Obituary:
Buxton, Ray C. Simoneau, 79 of Narragansett Trail passed away Saturday October 6, 2018 at the Maine Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born in Biddeford March 27, 1939 the son of Charles and Wilda Trembley Simoneau.
Ray attended local schools and later served in the US Marine Corp.
After his service to his country, he worked for the US Postal Service. His work was for many years as the Biddeford Post Office and later at the Saco Sorting facility.
Ray retired in 2002 and he enjoyed Western TV shows and repeat tv series.
He also enjoyed the company of his dogs, especially Taco.
He is predeceased by a daughter Wanda Jean Mitchell in 1980.
Survivors include his wife of over 40 years Sheila Simoneau of Buxton, a son Ronald Simoneau of Deltona, FL, and 3 daughters Debbie Tainter of Deltona, FL and husband Wallace, Dorothy Simoneau of Biddeford, and Jeanine L. Mitchell of Gorham, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
