Paul’s love, kindness, smile and sense of humor will be missed. His favorite saying: “Don’t take life for granted, because in a blink of an eye it could be gone”.
Obituary:
Saco – Paul Frederick Locke was born to Patricia May Thurston and Lewis Linwood Locke on January 9. 1971 in Portland, Maine. He passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough on August 5, 2018 at the age of 47 from a life long illness with Cystic Fibrosis and complications from liver disease.
Paul was raised in Scarborough and attended Scarborough schools and graduated from Massabesic in 2006 with his GED.
He worked for Scarborough Fire and Rescue as a firefighter in his younger years. Former driver for Interstate Batteries where he got his love for racing. He was a big fan of Joe Gibbs Racing with driver Kyle Busch #18. He left Interstate Batteries in July 2012. In August 2012, he went to work for Berlin City Honda of Portland as a delivery parts driver. Paul retired in August 2016 due to failing health. Paul’s passion was for the Boston Red Sox and he loved for the New England Patriots. He would often watch the Boston Bruins with sister Donna and her family.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Patricia Thurston Locke and Lewis Linwood Locke and grandparents Eleanor and George Thurston.
He is survived by his stepmother Priscila (Cris) Locke, sister Donna Morgan and her husband Jeff of Saco, sister Darlene Green and her companion Donald of Arundel, stepsister Nikki Nowell Jones and her husband Dwight of Scarborough, stepsister Brenna Frechette and her husband Roger of Biddeford, 2 brothers Darel Locke and his wife Victoria of Tennessee and Peter Locke and his wife Anna of Florida, a stepbrother Mike Palmer of Portland, and 19 nieces and nephews.
