Obituary:
Boylston, Massachusetts: Ann Louise Arno Moore, 67, of Linden St. passed away peacefully Saturday July 28, 2018 at the University of Massachusetts Hospital in Worcester, MA after a brief and brave battle with cancer.

Ann, known by Annie to all who loved her, was born August 4, 1950 in Biddeford ME the second daughter of Fred Arno and Hazel Sears Arno. She lived her first 2 years at Springfield College in MA while her father finished his Masters Degree, then spent the next 9 years growing up in Beverly, MA, finishing out her childhood in Hudson, MA. As an adult she also lived in Newtown, CT for several years, finally returning to Westford, MA and then settling with her husband in Boylston.

She was a graduate of Hudson High School, Hudson, MA Class of 1969.

Ann was a former employee of RCA, Digital Equipment Corporation, Grollier Publishing, Burger King, The Christmas Tree Shop, Spags of Shrewbury and Sears and Roebuck.

Ann was an avid lover of animals of every kind. She especially loved horses, cats and dogs, especially her dogs: Lassie, Freddie, Honey and Bentley. She rode ponies as a little girl, then moved on to horses as a teen. Who would believe that she loved to ride an elephant and did several times! She loved rock and roll music, took up trying to learn to play the guitar, accordion, and the drums. Ann collected tea cups with saucers and anything with a cow on it. She enjoyed social media having started groups which included “Ann’s Tea Party, Friends and Recipes”. Ann loved parties and planning them, cake was one of her favorite party foods.

Ann also enjoyed trips to the family summer home in Maine. And spent many wonderful summers there. One of her favorite trips was visiting friends in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country with the Red River Brethren. Her trips to visit family in California and Florida were always so meaningful to her. She always enjoyed her time with her family and will be sorely missed by her sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and her cousins in addition to her myriad and huge numbers of friends!

Always most important to her was her family who she loved more than anything.

Ann is survived by her husband of 23 years Dan Moore of Boylston, MA, 2 sisters; Ina Ennis Arno of Raymond, ME and Carolyn Marie Arno of Happy Valley, OR, her nieces, Angie Hicks of Los Gatos, CA, and Brooke and Beth Orrick-Arno of Happy Valley, OR, her nephew, Daren Pennington of Fairfield, CA (who shares her birthday) and his wife, Lia, of Fairfield, CA plus 6 grand nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several cousins and an Uncle

Ann’s faith was of huge importance to her.
