Obituary:
Theresa Odena Lefebvre, a long-time resident of the Lowell MA area and more recently of Saco, ME, passed away at the age of 92 on Wednesday the 11th of July at the Seal Rock Healthcare Facility in Saco.
Born May 15, 1926 in Suncook, NH, she was the daughter of Alexander and Florida (Demaris) Hamel. She attended local schools in Suncook, and spent most of her life working in mills and factories in and around Lowell MA. She was always known as one of the hardest workers at any job she ever worked, and passed on a strong work ethic to her children. Later in her working life, she provided home care for the elderly, often walking all over the city from client to client. She moved to Maine recently to live at Wardwell Gardens Assisted Living, then moved to Seal Rock in June of 2017.
Theresa loved the simple pleasures in life: cooking, baking, reading (especially Jane Austen), watching movies, listening to music, taking long walks around the neighborhood, and most of all spending time with family.
She is predeceased by her husband Albert Lefebvre, a son Donald N. Lefebvre, and a sister Rita Bedard.
Survivors include two sons David Lefebvre and wife Carolyn of Saco, Maurice Lefebvre of Lowell, MA, and daughter Priscilla Dinsmore and husband Stephen of Atkinson, NH, two sisters Lucille Loranger and Pauline Deschene, four grandchildren Jennifer Thompson, Jamie Couillard, Stephen Dinsmore, and Marc Lefebvre, three step grandchildren Benjamin, Chelsea, and Madeline Machado, four great-grandchildren Kory and Bryce Couillard and Jacob and Zachary Thompson, one niece and several nephews.
