Old Orchard Beach – Lois Emily Hager, 77 passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Grandview Drive Limerick on June 21, 2018. She was born on August 7, 1940 in Gardner, Massachusetts, the daughter of Onni and Helmi Tyrvanen Kujala. She graduated from Gardner High School in Gardner, MA in 1958. She furthered her education, graduating in 1959 from the Chandler School for Women in Boston, MA. Lois worked as a Copy Editor for many years at Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology then retired from Eaton Publishing, Natick.
Lois enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Marlene and her husband Neal Bush of Mullins, SC and Marilyn and her husband Wayne Ross of Limerick, ME, a sister Nancy Avila of Auburn, MA, 5 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
