Friends and relatives may call Friday June 22, 2018 from 5 to 6 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road in Buxton. At 5:45 pm Masonic service will be conducted by Fraternal Masonic Lodge #55 with a memorial service immediately following at 6pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery where Arthur and his wife will be laid to rest at a later date.

Obituary:
Arthur Edward Stewart, Jr. 78, formerly of South Waterboro, passed away June 13, 2018 at his daughter’s home with his family by his side. He was born on May 31, 1940 in Medford, MA, the son of Arthur and Marjorie F. Vaughn Stewart, Sr.
He attended Medford High School then enlisted in the Navy, serving our country from 1958-1961. He attended Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California and received a degree in mechanical drafting, machine and tool design. He worked as a machine designer when he retired in 2008.
Arthur was a member and Past Master of the Fraternal Masonic Lodge #55 in Alfred.
He enjoyed math, woodworking, crafting, sandblasting and exercising. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn in 2010.
He is survived by his children Donna Flores of Ashland, MA, Jeffrey Stewart and his wife Wendy of West Haven, CT, Jayson Stewart and his wife Jami of West Newfield, and Amy and her husband Richard Mearn of Gray; his brother David Stewart and his wife Marjory of York and his seven grandchildren Trista, Michaella, Cristian, Joss, Jayda, Carolyn " Maeve” and Dillon.
