Visiting hours will be held at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral home and Cremation 13 Portland Rd, Buxton (Bar Mills) Tuesday May 29th, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM.
Private family burial will be at a later date.
Obituary:
John P. Alfiero, 56, passed away Monday May 21, 2018 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough with his family by his side.
He was born in Portland, April 10, 1962 the son of John Alfiero and Patricia Dubar.
He attended local schools including Bonny Eagle High School.
John worked various places on the waterfront from cutting dogfish to being a buyer at the Portland Fish Exchange. He later owned ad operated Alfiero Brothers Seafood.
John enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, talking on the CB, cooking Italian dinners, four wheeling, tying flies, dancing, pool leagues and karaoke.
He is predeceased by his wife Brandi, a brother Anthony and 2 sons Nicholas and John Alfiero.
Survivors include a daughter Chantel Alfiero of Westbrook, 2 sisters Alicia Alfiero and Leanne Lowe and a nephew Nicholas Alfiero.
