Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation 365 Main St, Saco, Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 3 to 5 pm.
A 5 pm Service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. Deborah Breault and Rev. Merle Steva will officiate. A private family committal service will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Obituary:
Ocean Park, Mary H. Van Hoogenstyn, 90, of Seaside Avenue passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Seal Rock Healthcare Facility in Saco. She was born August 20, 1927 in Merrick, Long Island, New York the daughter of Lacey and Mary Collins Hicks Sr.
Mary graduated from local schools and then graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont. She worked for many years as a manager for AT & T.
Her family summered in Ocean Park, Maine and she and her husband M. Parker moved there permanently in 1992.
Mary was a member of the First Parish Congregational Church of Saco, UCC where she participated in the choir. She was also an active member of the Ocean Park Association and attended summer services at the Temple. She also volunteered for Southern Maine Health center in Biddeford.
She is predeceased by her husband H. Parker Van Hoogenstyn in 2010.
She is survived by a son Jon Parker Van Hoogenstyn and wife Constance MacAlpine of Cape Elizabeth, a daughter Mary Lacey Ferraro of New Port Richey, Florida, 2 grandchildren, Andrew Jon Van Hoogenstyn and Sarah Ramos.
