Obituary:
Saco, Donna Bryant, 77, of Flag Pond Rd Saco, passed away peacefully Sunday April 29, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Portland Maine February 4, 1941 the daughter of Mike and Kathleen Tubbs Reynolds. She attended local schools and later graduated from Samuel D. Hanson High School. Donna worked for over 30 years for New England Telephone Company. Upon her retirement, her passion for caring gleamed through. She spent her later days in life working part time in healthcare. Most recently, Donna went daily to spend time with a lovely woman, Mrs. Montz. Her picture-perfect work ethic and dedication allowed her to work just days prior to her passing. She enjoyed the beach, taking care of family and spoiling her dogs including Gillies who was by her side at the time of her passing. Donna’s ability to put her own ailment aside and wake up every day with a grateful heart replicates her true self. She was a woman of compassion, empathy, determination, strength and by far a woman who loved beyond illustration. Her grandchildren, great grandchildren, countless nieces, nephews and all of the adopted grandchildren were the center of her universe.
She is predeceased by a son Daniel Canning.
Survivors include a son Terry Canning of Biddeford, a daughter Kelly Canning of Hollis, a brother Douglas Reynolds of Las Vegas, a sister Estelle Weeman of Windham, grandchildren Amber St. Ours of Lyman, ME, Cassandra Collin of Dayton, ME, Sebastian Canning of Philadelphia, PA, Dylan Canning of Philadelphia, PA, Danny Canning of Saco, ME, Derek Canning of Saco, ME and 2 great grandchildren.

My Prayers and Thoughts to the family, may you be at peace now Donna . Over the years we have had some fun times, the first day i met you with those polka dot knee highs, when i cut your hair and frosted it and you wanted to leave the frosting hat with your hair in the orange stage and have me drive you up Congress St with your head out the window !! No matter what goes on in our lives the memories stay with us.Fly high and watch over your kids as you always did.
