Obituary:
Hollis, Margaret M. Yeaton, 77, formerly of South Portland passed away January 6, 2018 at her daughter’s residence on Pleasant Hill Rd in Hollis. She was born in Portland, July 25, 1940 the daughter of George and Mary Bowley Bowley.
Margaret attended schools at Deering and Falmouth High School.
She later attended Gray’s Business School in Portland.
Margaret worked in the Portland area for many years as a grill cook, waitress and cashier. She was employed in catering and at one time at Vallee’s Steak House.
Margaret enjoyed playing cribbage, going to the lake and specially the season of Christmas. She took extra care with her presents and made sure they found the right home.
Margaret is predeceased by a brother Kenneth R. Bowley
She is survived by 4 daughters Julie Russell and her husband Donald and Kathy Knight and her husband Neal of Florida, Wendy Casey-Rice of Portland, and Mary McNerney and husband Larry of Hollis, a brother Keith Mountford of Buxton, a sister Mary- Lou Strumph of Standish, 6 granddaughters, 5 great granddaughters and 3 great grandsons.
