Obituary:
Saco, Anthony E. Canario, 83, of Dode St. passed away Sunday October 15, 2017 at the Pine Point Manor is Scarborough. He was born in Cambridge MA February 20, 1934 the son of Anthony and Mary Thomas Canario.
Anthony attended schools in Cambridge and left school to serve his country. Serving in the US Army, he was stationed in Okinawa and Japan. After his service to his country, he returned home and worked for Carter Inc. and other companies.
Anthony then worked for over 20 years for the US Postal Service.
Moving to Maine in 2000, he enjoyed fishing, flea markets and trips to Dunkin Donuts for his favorite jelly donuts.
Predeceased by a sister Ethel Corderio.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Clarke Canario of Saco, a daughter Charlene Paula and her husband Robert of Plymouth, MA, a brother Richard Canario and wife Francis of Fl., 2 sisters Bertha Luongo and husband Frederick of Melrose and Sharon Canario of Melrose, a brother in law Joseph Corderio of Bourne, MA, 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Robert and a great granddaughter Olivia.

I was so sad to come across Tony's obituary, Joyce, when searching for another. Please know I have thought of you and he often and fondly. I apologize for this late of a message but am just now learning of his passing. Small world, our daughter recently moved to Woburn! Thinking of you!
